The Little Miss Black Mississippi Pageant is a celebration of the grace, beauty, and brilliance of young Black girls ages 2-12. Our mission is to empower and uplift the next generation of leaders by offering them a platform to showcase their unique talents, intelligence, and poise. Through this pageant, we create opportunities for young girls to shine, build confidence, and embrace their cultural heritage.
The pageant takes place annually in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and features various exciting competitions that allow contestants to express their creativity and individuality. The girls compete in the Evening Gown competition, with additional Optional Competitions in Talent, Photogenic, and Outfit of Choice. Contestants also have the opportunity to compete in Jackpot Competitions for Best Walk, Best Dress, and Beautiful Smile, earning all the money in the pot for each competition.
The Little Miss Black Mississippi Pageant isn’t just about crowns and sashes; it’s about fostering self-confidence, building lasting friendships, and teaching young girls the importance of leadership, self-respect, and community involvement. Winners in each division will receive a crown, sash, cash prize, and the chance to participate in activities with the 2025 Miss Black Mississippi USA Queens. Plus, they’ll receive an exclusive invitation to the Miss Black Tri-State USA Pageant in Atlanta, GA.
