Nov-Dec Beginner 2 "beyond beginner" 4-week progressive series

Beginner 2 progressive series will build on 6- and 8-count patterns learned in beginner 1 and learn beyond basic patterns such as a tuck turn and spinning side pass. Introduce pattern variations and extensions, practice stretch and compression connection partnering skills, turn skills, and more. All to make your dance more smooth and fun!

Before registering for Beginner 2, we do ask that you be comfortable with under arm turn (right side pass), left side pass, push break (sugar push) and basic whip.

Dates: 11/18, 11/25, 12/2, and 12/9/2025
Lesson: 7-8pm
Open practice: 8-8:15pm
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of class to check-in and change shoes.

$60 for 4-session beginner series, or $15 per class

Missed class policy: If a student has pre-paid for a 4-week session and misses one or more lessons during the session, 309 Westies will provide a discount voucher to the student for the amount of missed lessons to use toward enrolling in a future 4-week session. Cash refunds will not be given for missed lessons.

Other Info:
You will need flexible, smooth soled shoes that stay on your feet. Dress shoes with a leather sole work great. No flip flops or slides. No sneakers and boots with big treads that grip the floor.
Wear clothes that you feel comfortable moving in.
A water bottle encouraged.
