Join us for the next She Leads session focused on women creating real impact across Hawke’s Bay.

Driven By Impact brings together leaders working in the not-for-profit and community sector to share practical insight into what it takes to lead, support others, and deliver meaningful change.

This event is for women in business, leadership, governance, or community roles who want to better understand the realities of impact-driven work. You’ll hear about the challenges behind the scenes, the importance of collaboration, and how organisations sustain their work over time.

Misty King, Lead Facilitator at Mates4Life, will share her experience supporting wellbeing in our communities through suicide prevention and culturally grounded leadership. Her session will explore how connection, tikanga, whakapapa, and open kōrero help build resilience and support people through difficult moments.

Alesha Hope – Executive Officer, Hawke’s Bay Foundation
Alesha will share insight into how philanthropy supports long-term community impact. Drawing on her experience across New Zealand and Australia, she will explore how individuals, families, and businesses can contribute to sustainable funding models that enable charities to continue delivering meaningful outcomes for Hawke’s Bay.

The session will be MCed by Ashleigh Ritchie, Client Manager at Bizdom. Ashleigh brings a strong background in accounting, business support, and client advisory, with experience across administration, sales, and financial systems. Known for her practical approach and clear communication style, she will guide the evening and facilitate the panel discussion.

The event will conclude with a panel discussion and audience Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and explore how you can apply these insights in your own work.
