Spencer Johnson, retired teacher, long time LeDuc volunteer, local historian, and the cook at Civil War Weekend will be leading this historical cooking demonstration. Prepare and enjoy several mid-19th century dishes that families and Civil War Soldiers made over the fire at home and at camp, using ingredients from LeDuc’s own gardens.

This will be a hands-on, outdoor class in the LeDuc backyard, and we will be working over a wood fire, so dress accordingly (LeDuc House will be open).
