This volunteer-run not-for-profit empowers women and children in rural West Bengal through education, healthcare, and community support. This mission is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to practise my profession with true purpose, helping women and children create healthier, stronger futures. What to expect:Come along for a screening of The Darjeeling Limited — a beautiful, offbeat film set in India — and enjoy an evening of connection, meaning, and fun, while supporting a great cause.Your ticket includes entry to the film plus your choice of an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage.Food will also be available to purchase on the night (from Cineverse), and we’ll have a raffle with some great prizes up for grabs.Where your support goes:$20 helps a woman join a self-help group for a year$70 covers a child’s primary education for a year$500 maintains a school for an entire year$2,000 funds a village health clinic for 12 monthsNearly 99% of all funds raised go directly to these communities, as Hands On India is entirely volunteer-run.Your ticket isn’t just for a movie — it’s a contribution to empowerment, education, and lasting change. Please arrive by 7pm for the movie to start at 7:30pm.I am grateful for your support.
