Join us for a focused employer roundtable with Hon Louise Upston, Minister for Social Development and Employment, exploring how ChamberWorks can support Hawke’s Bay export businesses with recruitment, workforce capability and retention.

Export businesses are a vital part of Hawke’s Bay’s economy. They support jobs across production, logistics, services, technology, administration, leadership and supply chains. To keep growing and competing, exporters need access to the right people, the right skills and practical support that reflects real business needs.

This roundtable will bring together local exporters, the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce, MSD, ExportNZ and NZTE to discuss workforce needs across the export sector and identify practical next steps.

Exporters need people across operations, logistics, quality, compliance, administration, sales, digital, customer support and leadership roles.

ChamberWorks is a free national initiative delivered in partnership with the New Zealand Chambers of Commerce and the Ministry of Social Development and this  event will cover how ChamberWorks supports employers to connect with local, pre-screened candidates and access practical tools, training and support to help businesses hire, develop and retain great people.
