This will be followed by a walk through a part of the beautiful nature reserve at Secret Meadows, just outside Woodbridge in rural Suffolk.The goat walking experience is a great way to unwind and have fun, adapting to your goat’s pace and stopping every now and then for the goat to browse on hedges and grasses. Goats are intelligent creatures and love human company so after the walk there will be the opportunity to spend a bit more quality time brushing and feeding your goat and learning about this super friendly and fascinating animal!By booking a goat walk you are helping to raise funds for wildlife charity The Sinfield Nature Conservation Trust which owns the nature reserve.Booking Information:1 ticket is for walking with up to 3 goats for up to 6 people: £85 (plus Eventbrite fees). There are up to 2 tickets available per goat walk. We can offer a discount if you'd like to book 2 tickets (for up to total of 12 people) - please contact us to enquire.Alternative dates are available: We only list one or two dates online at a time but this activity can be booked on Saturdays or Wednesdays throughout April to November, subject to availability. Please contact us to enquire about other dates.Time: 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm.Duration: 1.5 hours (including time before and after the walk to spend with your goat).Age guidance: This activity is not suitable for children under 3 years. All children must be accompanied by an adult during the activity and children aged 3-9 need to share their goat with at least one accompanying adult.What to wear/bring: Please make sure you are wearing suitable shoes which are not open-toed and we recommend that long hair is tied back (as goats love to nibble!). We recommend you pack waterproofs (just in case!) and a drink (especially in hot weather).Size of the goats: There are 6 goats in all, and they are now fully grown at approx. 85 cm at the shoulders (they are now bigger than they appear in the photos!)Other useful info: The goat walking activity goes ahead in all weathers. If there are adverse weather conditions, you have the option to spend time with your goat in our animal barn where you can brush him and feed him plus take him on a shorter walk if you want to. Rarely, a goat may not be in the mood for the full walk, and if this happens, and an alternative goat is not available, the above options also apply.
