Parking: (There is a shopping center: Avenue Event Center, when you make the right at the light on South Main St and Saddle River Rd, on the right side of the street diagonal to Home Wines and Liquors; which is located at 75 Saddle River Rd, in South Hackensack, go to the back lot of this shopping center or you can find side street parking). IN THE MEANTIME, TAKE ACTION! St. Michael’s Cemetery is granting the USDA access to their property to round up and GAS Canada Geese. The cemetery CAN deny the USDA access and use nonlethal solutions. Feeding is attracting the Geese to this location. Ultimately causing their death. The gassing of geese occurs one day during the molt period - which is every year from mid-June to early July. At this time the geese lose their flight feathers, becoming flightless. The USDA is hired to round up the geese during the molt period whereupon they are shoved, alive, into a gas chamber and gassed to death. It takes 45 minutes before the geese suffocate and die. Their lungs burn from the inside out. This is the highest level of animal cruelty. KILLING has not and will not solve St. Michael’s conflicts with Canada Geese.
