This year’s symposium, "Explore the Living Garden," brings together nationally recognized speakers and regional experts to examine how gardens can support biodiversity, ecological balance, and beauty across the Cape Cod landscape.
Learn why our choices as gardeners matter, the unbreakable link between native plants and wildlife, and the impact a home gardener has on both.
Noted landscape designer and author Larry Weaner will present the keynote speech, "Ecological Design as Garden Art: The Artistic Thread."
Hear also from Blake Dinius, Entomologist and Educator with Plymouth County Extension on the topic of "Little Bee, Big World."
Mark Faherty, Science Coordinator as Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary rounds out this stimulating morning of discussions with "Landscaping for Birds, Bugs and Beyond."
Symposium registration is $40 and includes refreshments plus door prizes (including plants, tools, gift cards, and design books).
ONLINE REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 2!
This is usually a sell=out event, so early registration is encouraged! No tickets will be sold at the door.
