A four-month hybrid playwriting workshop that blends instinct, creativity, and structure.
Instinct & Structure unites the best elements of two beloved Helltown courses into one powerful program. Through in-person sessions with Lynda Sturner and weekly online sessions with Jim Dalglish, writers explore character, emotion, improvisation, and dramatic structure — shaping their ideas into compelling, cohesive scripts.
Ideal for writers of all levels who want to start a new play, deepen an existing project, or build a stronger, more confident writing practice.
