She studied Contemporary Decorative Crafts at Lincoln University, specialising in hand-built ceramics, and later honed her skills on the prestigious Ceramics Skills and Design Course in Thomastown, Ireland. There, she trained intensively in throwing, glazing, kiln firing, and glaze technology.Louise has been working professionally in ceramics since 2019 and now creates her own range of work from her studio at Greenbank. Her pieces have been exhibited in galleries across the UK and Ireland, including in Kilkenny, Dublin, Wexford, York, and Halifax.Alongside her studio practice, Louise is passionate about sharing her love of clay through teaching. She runs friendly, hands-on weekly pottery classes and taster sessions designed for all skill levels, whether you're a complete beginner or looking to develop your technique. You can also park on the road outside, on the same side of the building, its free.
