The Wisconsin Family Connections Center invites you to gather with fellow caregivers in a welcoming, informal setting to build community and support one another.We meet every 6 weeks at rotating locations throughout Waukesha County. Each registered participant will receive up to $15 toward a food or drink purchase.ℹ️ Important DetailsRegistration is required for each individual event date.This is an adults-only event; childcare is not available onsite.A $25 childcare reimbursement per family is available for those who need to arrange care (if not covered by another funding source).❗ Cancellation PolicyCancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance.If 3 or more late cancellations or no-shows occur within a six-month period, the household’s event registrations in the following six months will default to a waitlist.? EligibilityThis event is limited to Wisconsin caregivers of children impacted by adoption or out-of-home care and their immediate household.? The WiFCC provides support and services to parents and caregivers across the continuum of kinship care, foster care, and post-post permanency, including reunification, guardianship, and adoption. The WiFCC also serves as an excellent resource for professionals serving these families and caregivers.  \nAnother major partner of our Journeys Program is the Jockey Being Family Foundation. Jockey Being Family supports and strengthens foster and adoptive families by enabling them to provide critical post-adoption services on both local and national levels."
