CONCORA performs works inspired by artwork on display in the permanent galleries at the New Britain Museum of American Art. The music is programmed from the same period as the featured artwork, and projections of the artwork will be shown during the performance, providing a complementary visual and auditory experience audience members.
Led by Artistic Director Chris Shepard and Guest Conductor Ellen Gilson Voth, this program is an audio-visual representation of American art and music throughout the history of the nation.
