Head to the Hartford HealthCare Community Stage at Mortensen Riverfront Plaza for RiverBarre, our free class taught by instructors from Hartford Sweat. Bring your mat (don't forget your water bottle!) and get ready to enjoy a beautiful evening by the water!

Barre is a total-body-toning workout based on a combination of ballet movement, yoga alignment, and Pilates core work. You'll feel the burn with these low-impact bodyweight exercises that incorporate resistance bands, yoga stretching, and controlled breathing. Strengthen and sculpt your body and your mind! Bring water and a yoga mat, and wear sneakers.

Parking: Free parking for this event is available on-street on both sides of the river. Paid, convenient parking is available in the Connecticut Convention Center Garage - park on the fifth floor and use the exit on the north side of the garage, allowing direct access to Mortensen Riverfront Plaza.

This class is free to attend—donations are appreciated and help keep these programs going for everyone.
