Members of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra perform a concert of chamber works inspired by Modernism, including works by Maurice Ravel and Darius Milhaud. Before the performance, Oliver Tostmann, Susan Morse Hilles Curator of European Art, and Erin Monroe, Krieble Curator of American Paintings and Sculpture, lead a gallery talk exploring the development of Modern art on both sides of the Atlantic. The Sunday Serenades Chamber Music Series is made possible in part by The Saunders Foundation Music Endowment at The Wadsworth in honor of Leonid Sigal, concertmaster, Hartford Symphony Orchestra
