Feeling artistic? Tap into your creative side and join the Butler-McCook House staff for our Making History series at Connecticut Landmarks’ Amos Bull House in Hartford. This series of make-and-take events, inspired by the colonial past and taught by skilled craftspeople, will include basket making, pendant making, and creating your own seasonal bouquet. Roll up your sleeves, learn new techniques, and take home your creation!
On Wednesday, September 22nd from 5:30 to 7:30 pm join us for our final craft, Build-Your-Own Seasonal Bouquet. Find inspiration in our historic garden and create a seasonal floral arrangement of your own design with a stunning assortment of plant materials, including some from the Butler-McCook Garden. Cost is $30 per person, $25 for CTL Members. Registration required by Sunday, September 19th.
All materials and tools will be provided. Build-Your-Own Seasonal Bouquet participants are invited to bring their own gardening shears (some will be available to share). In order to protect the health of our staff, visitors, and community, all visitors must wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
