Free Lung Cancer Screening Scans
IU Health Ball, IU Health Blackford and IU Health Jay will be providing free lung cancer screening scans again this year. These Saturday screening events will also provide health and wellness resources and incentives from IU Health and other local partners. Free snacks and refreshments available.
How It Works
Eligibility
Between the ages of 50 to 80 years old, with a 20 pack-year smoking history and currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years are eligible for this free screening.
The Scan
You will receive a non-invasive low-dose CT scan, performed by an experienced medical professional. This low-dose CT scan is quick and painless and will only take 20 minutes from start to finish. No prescan procedures are required.
