Come learn yoga from the ground up. Literally, with Makenzie Dey (Also known as Zie) who graduated her 200 hr Vinyasa YTT in 2024 with Divinitree in Maui, Hawaii. 

She has lived a diverse and inspiring life, full of many obstacles she is very proud to have overcome. Makenzie deep dove into yoga after the birth of her first child and learned to reconnect with her body and process a lot of grief she hadn't had the skills to properly navigate through in the past. 

When she found yoga, she felt a deep connection to something greater than herself that she had never experienced before and knew she had to explore that further, so off to teacher training she went! Her goal as a teacher is to help people find their way to inner peace and true happiness. 
To help people connect with their true selves. Her favorite style of yoga is Slow Flow, giving students a change to align first and then just exist and breathe in all of the poses without rushing to the next. Her biggest inspiration in this journey is Hannah Avdek, who was her doula through her pregnancy, and is now her herbalist, mentor, and very dear friend. 

Makenzie is much more invested in mental and spiritual benefits rather than physical training (although she very much values that as well, since they go hand and hand) Catch Makenzie at her favorite book store and coffee shop, or outdoors when she's not teaching!
