Sun. Nov.9 Anniversary service in honour of Rev. Barbara Mahood- at Arden United Church, 1076 Railw.

Sun. Nov. 9- A union service (for all three churches together) to celebrate the 25 th anniversary of the ordination of the Rev. Barbara Mahood will be held at Arden United Church at 10:00 AM with services post-poned at Henderson and Mountain Grove for that one Sunday. A light lunch follows (Mountain Grove will please bring sandwiches, Arden will supply salads, tea, coffee, juice, set up of eating area, veggies and dip; and Henderson will supply for dessert a fruit tray and a large cake with words honouring Barb, and a gluten free option as well.) Judy K. is collecting written memories to be shared. Sarah H. will create a congratulatory card- with space enough for all signatures .As well, the union choir- with folks from all three churches will be singing “Let There Be Peace on Earth”. We will practice that morning before church starts, and singers from all three churches are welcome. Plans include an instrumental introduction , and some decorating. Please uphold in your prayers.
