We particularly hope to bring together local residents, people connected with community organisations and people who may not usually join organised walks.Talking and Exploring walks are not repeated guided tours. Each one is a different experience, shaped together on the day by the people who come, the places and people we encounter, and the conversations that develop along the way. Everyone is welcome to contribute, share their perspective and learn from others if they wish.We will meet at Sudbury Hill Station and make our way through North Greenford, taking in Horsenden Grape & Honey Farm, Feeding Ealing CIC, Join me for a different way of discovering North Greenford.A particular highlight will be our visit to Horsenden Grape & Honey Farm, where we have been invited to stop for tea under their marquee and hear more about what they are doing. They are also helping us connect with other local community and faith organisations, so there may be opportunities to meet people and hear their perspectives along the way.The walk is approximately 2 miles, but this isn't a race! We'll have plenty of time to stop, look, talk and hear stories. Some of the connections and visits are still being arranged, so the exact stops may develop as we get closer to the day.As with all Talking and Exploring walks, the experience is about more than simply following a route. We explore together, and there is always room for conversation, questions, contributions and the unexpected things we encounter along the way.And the connection doesn't have to end when the walk does: participants can keep in touch through the Ealing Walking, Talking and Exploring Group, where people can continue conversations and share photographs and experiences after the walk.Optional food afterwardsWe expect to finish around 3.30pm, with the option for those who would like to continue the afternoon over food and conversation at Piwnica na Pietrze, a local Polish restaurant.The meal is completely optional and is not included in the walk ticket. The restaurant has kindly agreed to accommodate us from around 3.30pm.
