TV programmes like DNA Family Secrets and Long Lost Family use DNA Researchers but their work is often hidden behind the scenes. Just how do they identify unknown Fathers and even, with foundlings, both unknown parents? This talk by Ann Yates will shed light on the process of using the results of readily available DNA tests to identify, trace and contact long lost family members.
