You will also learn how to set up and run archery sessions for your Scout group, following the guidelines of the Scout Association.By the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to take an assessment and get a Scout Archery Permit, which will allow you to lead archery activities for Scouts of any age.The course is open to anyone over 18 who is a member of the Scout Association as well as Young Leaders (16+)Note: If you are not a member of The Scout Association, you will not be able to take part due to insurance, safety and safeguarding requirements.You don't need any previous experience or equipment, as we will provide everything you need. The course is free if you are from the Harrogate and Nidderdale Scout District, and we will provide all learning material, tea/coffee, and access to kitchen facilities.If you are from ouside the District, we will charge a fee of £10 for the training material.The course will take place at Thornthwaite Scout Campsite (HG3 4AQ, What 3 Words – guardian.absorbing.quarrel), on the weekend of the 3rd and 4th Oct, 2026.
