Drug Country
Drug Country was started as an outlet for John Russell while his main band, Richmond's GNAWING was in a period of inactivity. Initially just started as bedroom recordings over a winter hibernation, Drug Country became a positive source of creativity and solo output. After an EP and a single in 2024, Gnawing split and Russell was left with one band to his focus. Drug Country began playing more shows- either as a two piece with other Gnawing cohort Garrett Whitlow on guitar or as a full band (often referred to as the family band) with rotating players. With 2025's "Heart Bleeds Silver" 2 song single, Drug Country dips down into the swampy southern gothic sound of tremolo guitars and pedal steel, with more to come in 2025 and beyond.
Tucker Riggleman & The Cheap Dates
Full-hearted twang rock performed by Appalachian DIY music scene veterans. Built around the songs of West Virginia musician Tucker Riggleman (The Demon Beat, Prison Book Club, Bishops, RHIN), The Cheap Dates seamlessly blend their punk, goth, and country influences into a potent mix of rock and roll all their own. With two celebrated records under their belts and decades worth of collective tread on the tires, Tucker Riggleman & The Cheap Dates have earned their reputation as a captivating, high-energy live act.
Uncle Bengine and the Restraining Orders
A mix of garage country, punk, and mountain rock -- loud, loose, and full of heart.
