Green Friday

Join the growing Harrisonburg tradition: Green Friday! Green Friday is a downtown trash cleanup event happening the day after Thanksgiving. It’s a great way to give back to your community and the environment. We will be picking up debris from along sidewalks, roadways, and the stream-bed. Keep Harrisonburg Beautiful this year!

Earth Day Every Day’s 6th annual Green Friday will be held Friday November 28th from 1-3PM. There will be a sign-up table set up at the ice-house parking lot outside Pale Fire Brewery, 217 N. Liberty St. We will provide trash bags, grabbers, and guidance on where to go. Participants should dress appropriately for the weather wear proper footwear and protective gloves, and don’t forget to bring water.
