# Event Details - **Event Name**: Stone Soup Women's Retreat - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 19 Sep, 2026 at 10:00 am – Sun, 20 Sep, 2026 at 10:00 am (-04:00) - **Event Description**: In the Fable of "Stone Soup" we are reminded of the value and power of community contribution, generosity and cooperation and how the community can thrive when everyone contributes what they can. We will be using the Fable as the base on which to build our gathering. We will not only be creating our own Stone Soup dinner, but I also invite you to share a skill, talent, information-whatever you have that you care to present. Use your imagination! No idea is too small. Some suggestions are, a favorite recipe, recite a poem, play an instrument, do tarot, oracle cards, yoga, tai chi, crystal bowls, create essential oil blends, etc. This is a wonderful opportunity to gather with a beautiful group of like-minded women for a day of sharing. We will begin our day at 10am on Saturday and ending our last planned activity at approximately 10pm. Weather permitting, a bonfire will continue through the evening for anyone who will be camping for the night. If you have a drum, rattle, flute, guitar etc., you may wish to bring it. (Camping is FREE and encouraged). Breakfast in the pavilion will be provided Sunday morning for those who stay over. The cost for this day of fun and fellowship is $50 and must be paid in advance to secure your place in this woman only event. Please consider bringing a zip baggie with a 1/2 cup of a vegetable or rice, pasta, barley, cooked beans, etc. for the "Stone Soup", which will be our evening meal. We will have two pots of soup. One will be vegetarian. Also, bring whatever skill, talent, information that you may have to share. PLEASE NOTE it is not mandatory to bring or present something. Just come and enjoy the day!! If you do plan to present or share something, please message or text me so I may develop our schedule for the day. This event will be held rain or shine, at the Kibby's. A lovely 80-acre private, wooded property. There is a 20x32 building for meals and workshops, a large studio and the Earth Wisdom Medicine Lodge for healing work, journeys, ceremonies and more. A salad luncheon on Saturday will be provided, as well as Sunday morning breakfast for those who stay over. Drinks and snacks are provided. There are 2 refrigerators available for use. Camping is FREE. Bring your tent, camper, van or car. There is plenty of room. Your payment of $50 is required to secure your place in this event. If you cancel before Sept 12, your deposit is 100% refundable. After that date, your payment is non-refundable.
