- **Event Description**: I met Barbara Jarrell in 2015. I think. I think we were watching a guy building a sand castle at Kerrville Folk Festival. Over the years we've become fast friends. She's passed on to me some hard-won hope that I carry wherever I go. One of my favorite pastimes at Kerrville is seeking her out and sharing our songs with each other. There's so much hope, wisdom, humor and vulnerability in what Barbara writes and I am so excited for her to get to share those gifts with our friends at Second Saturday and TallGrass Bar and Grill. 
Barbara's making a long drive from Louisiana to be with us and I hope you'll come on out and be a part of a magical night.
Suzanne's joined the circus for the weekend (There'll be video of that)--so Karen Fancher will be riding shotgun. We're going to sing a couple of Scott Fancher's great songs and a couple of Karen's favorites too. Maybe even a couple Christmas songs that we like. Ever heard that one by Robert Earl Keen?
