- **Event Description**: In this workshop we will be identifying and harvesting plants to make herbal oils.   We will then learn how to combine these oils with a few other simple ingredients to create wonderful, topical, healing salves.
Salves are wonderful for pain relief from scratches, cuts, sunburns and bug bites and healing cuts, scrapes and abrasions quickly. 
The cost for this 3-hour workshop is $40 and covers all materials.   You will take home an herbal oil (to create salve at home), plant matter to work with at home, a small jar of finished salve and instruction sheets.
Please dress for the weather as part of the workshop will take place in the gardens, rain or shine.  Bring your camera/cellphone and a notebook. 
This class is taught by Vicki Kibby.  Vicki has been making plant medicines for many years and has a certificate in herbalism from the Chestnut school of herbal medicine. She is also a Shamanic Practitioner and a Reiki Master Teacher.
