Add deep blue skies, rolling terrain, streams and some elk and you have the ingredients of every landscape photographers’ dreams.Cool crisp mornings, musky autumn scents and elk bugling in the distance complete the assault on one’s senses creating the most magical time to photograph Arkansas.The Arkansas Fall Colors Photo Workshop conducted by Blair Ball is designed to capture this specific period of the year, when the mountain range gets the most stunning colors from hickory, maple, oaks, other trees and plants in the area – it is truly a magical experience to witness and photograph such magical transformations.Tentative Itinerary – Please note that the schedule is subject to change – any changes to the schedule will be emailed in advance to all workshop participants.Wednesday Oct. 28th – Arrival and check-inI'll be staying at the Hotel Seville in Harrison ArkansasPh: 870-741-2321Thursday – Day 1 | Oct. 29thLeave at 6:00 am for sunrise. Field photography at one or more of the shooting locations in the morning and afternoon. Mid-day post-processing workshop and image review sessions.Friday – Day 2 | Oct. 30thLeave at 6:00 am for sunrise. Field photography at one or more of the shooting locations in the morning and afternoon. Mid-day post-processing workshop and image review sessions.Saturday – Day 3 | Oct. 31stField photography at one or more of the shooting locations in the morning and afternoon. Mid-day post-processing workshop and image review sessions.Personalized InstructionEach participant will receive personal attention in the field during the shooting sessions. I will also provide "ask me anything" post-processing lessons and one on one support each day to all attendees. Topics will include the use of Lightroom & Photoshop for color and black and white image processing. We will also have group photo reviews and critique sessions.Investment and How to Sign Up - Limited to 8The workshop cost is $699 per participant. This cost excludes flight, car reservation, lodging, food and other related costs. Workshop participants will be responsible for arranging their own flights, accommodations and ground transportation to and from the workshop location in Harrison, Arkansas. In order to sign up for the above workshop, please use our secure Workshop Registration page.Reservations/PaymentA deposit of $350 dollars is required to hold your spot on this workshop. Your final payment of the “balance due" for this workshop must be paid on or before Oct. 15th. 2026 prior to the workshop's inception. We will send out reminder notices of your balance due a week before this mark. Payment methods accepted: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS and PAYPAL.Cancellation policy:Deposits are refundable minus a $150 processing fee. The workshop fee is refundable until 90 days of the event. Within 60 days, the workshop fee is non-refundable unless the even sells out or you have purchased travel insurance. Please note that the workshop fees are fully refundable minus processing fees until October 15th 2026. We will not be able to provide a refund after this date due to planning and coordination issues.
