Imagine if you will, women gathered together as a sisterhood community. Floral circlets on their heads, drinking sun tea, creating crystal essences, making floral mandalas, celebrating the Fire Within, enjoying an evening campfire and more. The Summer Solstice is the day when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky, and the Earth receives the most solar, fiery, masculine energy. It is a time of action, manifestation and vitality. A time to find balance in your life and summon the courage to be the boldest version of yourself. This is a celebration of the longest daylight of the year and of fire festivals. A time to celebrate the turning of the Wheel. This is a woman only retreat created for women to connect with nature, our inner Goddess energy and like-minded women. It is filled with a healthy mix of out-door adventure, workshops, ceremonies, guided journeys, delicious meals, Sacred song & dance, and more. Sample itinerary of what you can expect: *opening ceremony *creating your own ceremonial rattle *painting paver stone for the Spiral Path *guided Solstice journey in the Earth Wisdom studio *butterfly dance in the Stone Circle *mandalas created with forest gifts *Creating herbal tea blends at the Apothecary *Journey to the Akashic Records!! *Goddess Supper! *Walk the Spiral Labyrinth w/meditation in the Medicine Lodge *Make a summer solstice crystal essence *Solstice Campfire & drum circle *closing ceremony This is a rain or shine event. Earth Wisdom has a 20x32 building for meals, workshops, etc., a large separate studio and a Medicine Lodge for healing work, journeys and 80 private acres with trails to roam and explore. Meals and snacks are included in the cost. Delicious food is prepared on site. Coffee, tea, water and snacks are always available. If you have any special dietary needs, please bring what you need. There is a fridge, stove and microwave available for food prep. PLEASE NOTE!! This has been changed to a one-day event. If you would like to come Friday evening and/or stay over Saturday night, you are more than welcome! There is plenty of space for tents and smaller campers. You may use the refrigerators and stove in the pavilion. 2 outdoor privy/toilets and water source for your needs. Your host for this event is Vicki Kibby. Vicki is a Reiki Master, Shamanic Practitioner, certified sound healer, drum and rattle maker, herbalist, and Keeper of the Earth Wisdom Spiral Path and Medicine Lodge. She has hosted many events, workshops, ceremonies and gatherings and has led many guided journeys at Earth Wisdom. The cost for this event is $125. We begin our celebration at 10am. Saturday from 10am to 10pm is packed full of everything listed, but anyone wishing to come in Friday evening after 6pm and/or stay over Saturday night is welcome to do so. You must reserve your place with a $75 deposit. Balance can be paid in cash the day of event. Your deposit is 100% refundable if you cancel at least 1 week prior to the event date. After that, deposits are non-refundable.
