Family Pumpkin Carving Contest
 
Penn Township Recreation welcomes your family to show off their pumpkin carving skills.  We encourage every family in Penn Township to participate.  

Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes are welcome, as long as they are real (no foam or craft pumpkins). Contestants must drop off their completed pumpkins on Friday, October 17th from 9am-4pm at the Municipal Park Office.  All pumpkins entered must already be carved or painted, prior to drop off. 

Your contest number will be assigned during drop off. This is the number you must place on your pumpkin to be judged.  Any pumpkins not turned in by Friday, October 17th will not be judged. Pumpkin judging will take place during the Tricks & Treats Family Spooktacular event on Sunday, October 19th. 
Contest Rules

One entry per family.  Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes are acceptable as long as they are real. 

All pumpkins must have their ticket number visible for their pumpkin to be judged. Ticket numbers will be assigned during drop off and serve as your contest entry receipt. Participants are responsible for having the correct contest number displayed on their pumpkin. 

Pumpkins must be dropped off at the Municipal Park Building (2001 Municipal Ct Harrison City, PA 15636), before 4:00 pm on Friday, October 17th to be judged. Late entries will not be judged. 
All pumpkins entered will be on display during the Tricks & Treats Family Spooktacular on Sunday, October 19th.  Penn Township Recreation responsible for any damage to your pumpkin after drop off/during the Family Spooktacular Event.  Judging will occur during the Event. All pumpkins must be picked up after winners are announced at 6pm on Sunday, October 19th.  Any pumpkins left at the end of the Event will be disposed of.

Prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place, and People’s Choice.  Winners will be announced at 6:00pm on Sunday, October 19th during the Tricks & Treat Family Spooktacular.  Be creative and have fun!
