Volunteers will be on hand to demonstrate how to use the library telescope and what types of things to observe in the night sky. Weather permitting, telescopes will then be set up outside on the library lawn for observation. Night sky and starry-themed snacks and drinks will be served! Open to ages 8 and up. Parents, as this event takes place in the evening just before closing time, please attend with your children. Volunteers will have one telescope available for viewing, in addition to the Orion StarBlast Telescope owned by the Harrisburg District Library (available for check-out!).
