Project Next Generation (PNG) is a grant program initiated by Jesse White, former IL State Secretary, and designed for public libraries to mentor youth ages 10-18 in gaining life skills, developing skills to use various technologies, and engaging students in educational programs. Our library has participated in PNG since 2001! Students can catch the bus from school and be dropped off at the library right after school. PNG is open to students in middle school AND high school.
