- **Event Description**: Mark your calendars, book lovers! Our most popular annual event is back — and bigger than ever. The Harrisburg Book Festival is proud to host our annual outdoor tent sale with over 30,000 used books priced at $1, $2, and $3.

The book sale will take place on Verbeke Street in front of the Broad Street Market, adjacent to the bookstore, from Wednesday, October 15th through Sunday, October 19th. This year’s sale will feature bargain books and hidden gems in fiction, history, politics, art, children’s, poetry, photojournalism, biography, sports, and much, much more. Rain or shine, we'll see you there!

HOURS

Wednesday, October 15: 10am-7pm
Thursday, October 16: 10am-7pm
Friday, October 11: 10am-9pm
Saturday, October 12: 9am-9pm
Sunday, October 13: 10am - 6pm

LOCATION

Verbeke Street, adjacent to 1302 North 3rd Street, Harrisburg PA 17102, between 3rd St and Susquehanna St

PAYMENT

Cash and all major credit cards accepted

PARKING

Free 2-hour parking is available around the neighboring Broad Street Market. Limited free parking in the lot behind our store. Metered street parking is available on 3rd and Verbeke Streets, 8am-7pm Monday-Saturday. Some nearby unmetered streets have residential-only parking from 8am-10am and 3pm-5pm weekdays.
