Specters inhabit this contemporary landscape: Like most spaces in our world, the familiarity of the common place gets rendered invisible, ghostly, as we go through the motions of our daily lives. 

With a curiosity for the ordinary, 'places in pieces vol. 4' gives attention to the discarded, and to the observation of quiet moments. The film has a running time of 56 minutes, with a score by Adam Parks (Lighting White Bison), similarly composed of field recordings, found material and incidental improvisations, and performed as a live accompaniment to the film on manipulated 4-track recorder.
