The 6th Annual SHINE Walk returns to Harrisburg on Friday, September 18, 2026!

Join us as we walk to shine a light on child abuse and stand with survivors. Everyone is welcome — whether you participate in-person or virtually! Reserve your event "ticket" through our online checkout, and we'll email you simple ways to spread the word and invite your friends, family, and co-workers to support healing, hope and justice for kids across Pennsylvania.

We SHINE so no survivor walks alone. CACs are a safe space for child victims to be heard, find support and start to heal after abuse.

After the walk, a free gratitude lunch will be offered inside the Capitol building from 12:30-1:30 PM for those who wish to stay. Please check "yes" on your event ticket order so we can plan accordingly.

PARKING: When you enter City Island, you will come to the bottom of a ramp. Turn left and head toward the ballpark area (not the parking garage). There is public parking close to the stadium and Walnut St. bridge—look for our SHINE table and yellow balloons.
