INSTRUCTIONS: Submit entries in the Exhibition Hall at the Harmony Fairgrounds on Friday 4-7 pm. Exhibitors with a large amount of items are welcome to schedule an appointment for earlier in the day to submit their items. Vehicles are NOT PERMITTED on the midway. Show is for amateurs only. All items must be made or grown by exhibitors. Articles entered in previous Harmony Fairs are not eligible. The fair is not responsible for damage or theft. Exhibit Hall personnel will refuse items not 
acceptable for exhibit.

Exhibition Hall is open to the public on Saturday from 1 pm to 7 pm, Sunday from 10 am to 7 pm and Monday from 10 am to 4 pm.

All exhibited items must remain at the Fair for the duration of the Fair. Items may only be removed on Monday between 4 pm and 6 pm. If items are removed earlier, NO PREMIUMS WILL BE PAID. Exhibitors may be able to receive their premium check when they pick up their items on Monday between 4 pm and 6 pm.

AGE CATEGORIES: Adults: Age 16 and older. Youth: Age 15 and younger, except as noted under ART. Adult-made items submitted in the Youth category will be disqualified.

PREMIUMS: Best of Show- $30.00, 1st place- $15.00, 2nd place- $10.00, 3rd place-$7.00. Judges award prizes on merit, even in categories without competition. If your item is the only item in a 
category, this does not guarantee a ribbon. 4H and Family Group Premiums- 1st place-$25.00, 2nd place-$20.00, 3rd place-$15.00

Exhibition Categories
4H and Group Exhibits: Get together with your friends or 4H Club and tell us how to milk a cow, train a dog, raise chicks, make a pie or accomplish any other home or agricultural project. Use posters, set up demonstrations, decorate tables. Be creative! Exhibitors in this category should provide their own tables and call ahead to reserve space.

Judged on correct size, shape and freshness. Specify variety if possible. Each entry should be exhibited on a white paper plate. If you have fruits or vegetables not listed here, please bring them 
anyway. We love unusual produce and would be happy to have them as display items!

PRESERVED & PROCESSED FOODS
Food is judged on good appearance and should be preserved according to USDA best practices, available at http://umaine.edu/food-health/food-preservation. All canned goods must have a 2 piece lid and a small label identifying the 
contents. If food is intended to be refrigerated rather than stored at room temperature, for example, refrigerator pickles, please let the Exhibit Hall staff know. Jars may be opened for judging, so smaller jars are recommended.
