- **Event Name**: Redware Ornaments Workshop

- **Event Description**: In this workshop, Emily Smucker-Beidler will teach some of the fascinating history of early Pennsylvania Redware pottery. Students will start with a slab of red clay with white slip and cut out at least 5 ornaments. Then, using the sgraffito method, they’ll scratch through the colored slip for our Fraktur designs.

After the workshop, Emily will fire the pieces, which can be picked up 4 weeks later at the workshop location. For an extra fee, Emily can mail the ornaments.

The cost is $105 for members ($115 nonmembers) and includes all materials. Registration is required as space is limited.
