- **Event Description**: In celebration of Our State magazine's wonderful June features honoring the tradition-bearers of eastern NC, Core Sound will be honoring our own OLD SALTS - Young and Old on July 25.  

This Reunion will bring together the young boatbuilders, shrimpers, fishermen and all those whose work depends on our local waters with the generations of men and women who have shared these traditions.

A covered dish supper, time to visit and a program honoring these traditions will give our community a time and place to honor these OLD SALTS who have shaped our communities forever.  The event is free but please RSVP below.
