This fun and spirited matchup will feature the Texas Old Glories Granny Basketball Team taking on the Harker Heights City Staff Team. Hosted by the Old Glories as part of their annual charity giving efforts, the event promises friendly competition for a meaningful cause.

The Texas Old Glories are part of the Harker Heights Senior Program through Parks & Recreation and practice and compete at the Recreation Center. The team participates in the National Granny Basketball League, playing by adapted 1920s six-on-six basketball rules. The league was established to provide fun and competitive exercise for women over age 50, promote charitable giving, offer wholesome and nostalgic entertainment, recognize mature women athletes, and preserve the history of six-on-six basketball.

The Old Glories compete against teams across Texas and travel out of state to participate in national tournaments.
