30th National Thang-Ta Festival

A three-day festival of Thang-Ta, a traditional martial art form of Jharkhand, will be held at Prem Nagar Ashram in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, from 4th January to 6th January. The festival will feature a display of Thang-Ta skills, music, and dance performances, and a competition in which nine teams from Jharkhand will participate. The festival is being organized by the Jharkhand Thang-Ta Association and managed by Preeti Maim, with Ranjit Kesari, the chief coach and advisor of the association, as the team leader. Two technicians from Jharkhand, Sonamoti Kumari and Mamta Kumari Pandey, will also be part of the management team.
