Cycling Through Albania: Country, Food, and History

Join Andrea Brightenback and Bruce Fortmann for a cycling tour presentation of Albania from the comfort of the Parker Ladd Community Room at the Jeudevine Memorial Library on Thursday, December 4 at 6:30. They will lead a virtual cycling tour around the southern half of Albania featuring breathtaking vistas, contrasting ocean and agrarian lands, mouth watering photos of Mediterranean food and an introduction to 2000 years of the history of this tiny country.

Andrea is a retired educator and musician with a passion for learning. She and her husband, Harold, have discovered bike touring in out-of-the-way places, where they enjoy geography, history, and food as they bike through mountains and valleys around the world with like-minded friends.

Bruce is a flight instructor and professional musician from the NEK of Vermont. He graduated this year from Vermont State University with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Pilot Technology. With his grandfather's help, he has become an avid international cyclist, completing four tours in the last four years. Bruce enjoys traveling the world to discover new places, people and cultures.
