Ink in Action: Screen Printing with Tyanna Buie

This free hands-on workshop invites participants into the dynamic world of screen printing through an exploration of both traditional techniques and experimental approaches. Using a variety of water-based inks and an array of unconventional materials, students will delve into the process of layering, masking, and image-making through handmade and found stencils, monotypes, and hybrid methods.

Whether you’re new to screen printing or looking to expand your printmaking practice, this workshop fosters a spirit of play, discovery, and material curiosity, opening new pathways for artistic exploration. Participants are encouraged to bring their own t-shirts or tote bags to print on, in addition to the provided paper.
