- **Event Description**: We've all seen the very popular polymer clay jewelry that is sold at our local art markets and farmer's markets. Canes and flowers and bright simplistic patterns. They are fun and cool ... but let's see if we can't elevate polymer clay a bit more.

You'll learn how to use stamps and tools to design pieces that are outside of the normal polymer clay styles. Make a pattern that looks like beautiful damask fabric. Or make a simple necklace that looks like jade or other precious stones. Or even make one that looks like it's made from stone! You'll learn how to use mica powders and paint to enhance these patterns and make jewelry that is uniquely your own.

I will provide a wide variety of stamps from florals to beautiful tile patterns to kells and mystical symbols. All kinds of stamps to help you design something really original. I'll also have a wide selection of mica powders and colors to choose from.

I'll teach you how to use all of these tools to make your own unique jewelry. Once we get through the basics of how to use the clay, paint, powders, stamps, etc., you'll be free to create whatever you want. I will guide you to make sure your piece comes out the way you want it to. YOu can make as many pieces are you want. However, I will only provide a satin cord necklace for one piece. If you have old necklaces at home and you want to bring in a chain or two, feel free. A great way to upcycle some old chains.

Please dress for mess. Trust me, this gets messy!

Snacks and drinks will be available.

Great for ages 10+. Children must be accompanied by adult.
