Festival of Lessons and Carols

Begin the Season of Advent with a Festival of Lessons and Carols at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The program will begin with an organ prelude performed by Richard E. Frey at 6:30 PM followed by the service at 7:00 featuring the choir, soloists, and the congregation. The Festival of Lessons and Carols is a service that dates to the late 19th century. It is comprised of 9 Scripture readings followed by a carol or song that reflects upon that message. Come and prepare your heart for the King of Kings!
Donations of canned goods will be accepted for God's Meal Barrel.
