- **Event Description**: Join us at the Laura Hawkins' house for our January meeting, which also happens to be our annual guild birthday. The Hannibal Writers Guild turns 8 years old in January 2025, and we're celebrating by taking a break from the writing grind and letting loose with a little fun! 

Mingle, brainstorm, and enjoy birthday goodies (including birthday cake!) and party games. This year, Dana is cooking up a Writers/Literature themed Trivia! Test your knowledge on bestselling authors and literary works (and maybe even some local ones, too!). 

We are excited to hear all about what you've accomplished this year, and what you hope to accomplish in the next. 
 
This meeting will be taking place at 210 N 5th Street, Hannibal, MO. You can't miss it! It's the green one across the street from LaBinnah Bistro Restaurant.

The meeting will be Saturday, January 10th, at 5:30 P.M. at the Laura Hawkins house. (Weather permitting; per usual, snow seems to be wanting to crash the party come Saturday, but we'll keep you posted!). There will be a sign on the door. Just let yourself in! Please do not arrive earlier than 4:30pm. The building will not be open until 4:30. You are, however, welcome to show up early at 4:30! Dana will be there, as usual, for office hours.

Please note that if for some reason we have to cancel due to weather (which has happened several times over the last 8 years!), we will have our birthday party at our February meeting. An email will go out announcing the rescheduling (if any), as well as on our Facebook page.

The meeting is of course free, so bring a friend or two or three!
