The Pirate tourney of Nordwache is to be held on February 21st 2026! Prove your mettle in the fights, show your plunder in the arts, and don't forget your voice with our bardic competition! Be ye warned: A treasure awaits discovery, but this is no small adventure. It will take place throughout the day and will require real effort, which will be well rewarded. We will have food and some drink (though the rum and grog are up to you) at our wet site. Food price is TBD, but not to exceed $15.

Schedule of events:
9am - Site opens
9:30am - Gate and Lists open
10:30am - Opening court (at Their Excellency’s pleasure)
11am - Fights and treasure hunt begin
12pm - Lunch and bardic
4pm - Tear-down
5pm - Site closes

Registration Information: Adult Event Registration (17 and over): $20.00. Adult Member Discount Event Registration: $10.00. Children (16 and under) are guests of the Barony. Cash and checks accepted at gate. Please make checks payable to “SCA, Inc./Barony of Nordwache”.

Arts & Sciences Competition:
Baronial Championship (Adult) – Something Dealing With Pirates
Children’s Championship (12 years and younger) – Something Dealing With Pirates
Cooking - Something with Vitamin C - Documentation required for ingredients.
Brewing - Something With Vitamin C
Bardic - Sea
Throw the theme out the window – Item must have been made within 90 days of the event.

DIRECTIONS:
From the North: Make your way to Highway 99 and head south to Highway 43. Take 43 South towards Hanford. Turn right (West) on Flint Avenue and then left (South) on North 11th Avenue. After you go through the light at Fargo Avenue, the site will be on your right.

From the South: Make your way to Highway 99 and head north to Highway 198 near Visalia. Go West on 198 towards Hanford. Take the 12th Avenue exit and turn right (North). Turn right and head east on Grangeville Boulevard. Turn left and head north on 11th Avenue. The site will be on your left.
