Call for Art: Animal Life, Art from the Kalevala

January 24-February 28, 2026
Artists are invited to delve into the Kalevala, Finland’s national epic poem, and find a reference to one of the many animals that are integral to the stories.
INFO: Artists may submit up to three works in any medium and are asked to provide the lines or passages from the Kalevala that inspired the work. Mark your work with the retail price or NFS. The Arts Center retains a 40% commission on work sold.
FEE: No entry fees.
DEADLINE: Deliver submissions to the Arts Center any time now up to December 23 or on Saturday, January 17th from Noon-4pm.
