Come and join us for a fungi-finding walk around RSPB Sandwell Valley!
Led by local fungi expert, this guided walk will take you through the reserve in search of the fascinating fungi that flourish in autumn.
🍄 Saturday 1 November 2025, 1:30pm - 3:30pm
From quirky shapes to bursts of colour, you’ll discover the hidden world of mushrooms and toadstools that often go unnoticed.
After our walk, we’ll head back to the Visitor Centre to warm up with a hot chocolate or your favourite hot drink — included in your ticket.
🧤 What to bring:
🍂 Sturdy walking boots or shoes (some paths may be uneven)
🍂 Waterproofs (weather dependent)
🍂 A camera to capture your finds
🍂 Something to kneel on for close-up views
Whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned fungi fan, this is a perfect way to connect with nature and learn something new.
Please note: we will not be foraging, none of our fungi is intended to be consumed.
