Led by master drummer and cultural arts educator Yao Ababio of Asase Yaa & Ababio Entertainment, this interactive workshop introduces participants to the rhythms, techniques, call-and-response, and communal spirit of West African drumming.Presented by The DAY Program as part of Rhythms Across Generations: Wellness Through Cultural Traditions, this experience reflects how cultural knowledge continues to move from teacher to student and from generation to generation.
