- **Event Description**: 1. Teams to consist of 2 persons, with team averages capped at 420. Any team over 420 will have a negative handicap of 125%.
2. Entrants will use their composite Yearbook average from 2025-26. If they do not have a Yearbook average they will use their highest composite yearbook average from the last 3 seasons. If the bowler does not have a yearbook average, entering average will be 225. Current league sheet may be submitted for review of Tournament director and average from current league sheet may be used at the discretion of Tournament Director.
3. Handicap will be 90% of 450.
4. Teams will bowl 4 games across 4 lanes, moving after 2 games, highest total with handicap will win.
Winning team members will be eligible for 2027 Tournament of Champions.
5. Entry fee will still be $90 per Team if paid by August 31, 2026. After August 31, walk in fee of $100 will apply. For each entry: $26 to lineage, $12 Expenses and year end prize fund, $52 to Prize fund. Prize fund Paid out 100%.
Prize ratio will be 1 in 6.
6. It is the responsibility of each bowler to verify the accuracy of their average; failure to use proper averages shall disqualify scores if submitted average is lower than actual average. IF you have been re-rated in the last 12 months at any tournament, you must report it in writing to the tournament director prior to squad time, if not reported, it will be grounds for disqualification.
7. Bowlers will bowl scotch style. They will alternate each ball thrown. Ex: If bowler “a” does not strike, bowler “b” will shoot the spare. If a strike is thrown, bowler ‘b’ will start the next frame.
8. Tournament winners will be paid once all averages and scores have been verified.
9. Payments accepted at the shop, or can be paid to one of the Porters Pro shop staff. Checks are not accepted for the tournament fees. Electronic payments can be submitted Via Cashapp ($CoachTAP) Venmo (@Todd-Porter-36) Paypal (anp9201@comcast.net) or Zelle (410-615-9120)
10. Any questions or issues not covered by these rules shall be decided by the tournament director.
